I've been blogging off and on since I was in junior high. I'm not in junior high anymore, and not much has changed in respect to random blogging. I'll always need an outlet. Spoken words always seem to fail me; but when I write my feelings spill through my fingers. Funny how that works.
Why I chose love letters? Well.. I love to write love letters. I've written many--most of which are unsent. Unsent and way too long love letters.
I'm Lyka and I'm consistently inconsistent. I'm in my third final year of college; I'm working towards a BA in Psychology-- because I'm B.A. I just finished my undergrad degree, now I have to be an adult or something like it. I am undeniably sarcastic, and appear extremely aloof. I have the tendency to procrastinate, but I have entirely too high expectations of myself. Nice to (sorta) meet you.
You ever notice that the people who have the most to say about humanity are those that are isolated?
I may be socially awkward, quiet, mysterious, [insert some adjective that most strangers describe me as]— but I do know a lot* about human behavior. Observations are what I do pretty darn well. I was definitely not trained to be personable, but trained to do research.
I’m pretty OK with that, actually.
